PSSSST! Vi har været så heldige at selveste Jazz Five, det fantastiske 5 mands band, kommer og optræder igen i år. Jazz Five byder på gennemfunky jazz og blues med rødder i nutidens New orleans. Bandet har med sig på scenen ingen ringere end Steffen Westmark (Blue Van og Peppermint B) og det bliver uden tvivl en fest, når Jazz Five går på scenen og afslutter ballet! GÅ IKKE GLIP AF DETTE!

HISTORIEN OM DEN FORFØRENDE DANSEGENRE

Tænk Cabaret, Moulin Rouge, Chicago og Lady Marmelade kombineret i en og tilsæt dernæst et snært af satire, performance of art og glamourøst underholdning så får du det Sweet Burlesque kendetegner som Klassisk Burlesque. Sweet Burlesque er et koncept, der breder sig med stor fart. Sweet Burlesque har eksisteret siden 2011 og er nu en blomstrende virksomhed med over 270 elever samt 11 hold om ugen, hvor der bliver undervist i Burlesque i forskellige niveauer og genrer. Sweet Burlesque henvender sig til alle kvinder i alle aldre og former og det vil afdansningsshowet også afspejle.

Practical information:

Doors wil open at 19:15

There will be a bar where you can buy cocktails, water, wine, beer, snacks etc.

There is a wardrobe (price 30 DDK) but you can also bring your stuff with you in the hall - hopefully Summer has arrived by then and you don't need to bring a jacket ;) )

The Burlesque show will start at 20:00 and end around 22:00. There will be a 15 minutes break from 21:00-21:15 where you can use the bathroom, smoke, buy more drinks etc.

After the show there will be a short break where Jazz Five will get ready (there will be music, opportunity to speak with the Burlesque performers etc.) Around 22:20 Jazz Five will be performing where you can dance or sit while enjoying the sweet sound of New Orleans Jazz. Steffen Westmark will make his entry between 22:30-23:30!

Parking:

There will be lots of parking opportunities around Rødovre Rådhus Plads. Viften is located in the middel of Rådhus Pladsen (rødovre) and you can park for free.

Bus

Linie 13 og 132 stops at Rødovre Parkvej.

Linie 6A, 9A, 161 og 200S stops at Tårnvej.

S-train

Rødovre, Jyllingevej og Hvidovre.

There is around 20 minutes walk from the stations but you can take the bus from the station to Rødovre Centrum.

Sweet Burlesque is a concept that spreads at great speed. Sweet Burlesque has been around since 2011 and is now a thriving company with over 270 students and 11 teams a week in Burlesque in different levels and genres. Sweet Burlesque is for all women of all ages and shapes!
